Hi this is Cam Bengtson. Friday at school we had to take the SRI .  That test takes so long it is frustrating.  It made me so mad because kids that started the same time I did finished so I am thinking I must be about done. Then I am thinking really did they finish fifteen minutes ago and I am still going. I guess the more you concentrate the quicker it gets because at the end five passages seems like one. That time paid off  because at the end of the test I was advanced. 

Just Me and My Sister

      My sister and I love to play outside. She loves to play tag, so I was being nice and told her we could play tag.  I wish I would have realized, she was running too fast with flip-flops on.  She laughed as I chased her.  We ran down the street.  We live to go outside. She is a very wild girl. 

        I knew i should have stopped her, but we were having too much fun.  Then it happened, she hit the front of her flip-flop on the concrete and tripped and fell, scraping up her knee pretty bad.  I tried to pick her up quickly and help her by telling her it would be okay and it wasn't really all that bad.

        Of course, like all 4 year old kids, she started to cry.  My dad came running out, picked her up and took her inside to take care of her scrapes and get her knee cleaned up.  I felt real bad and told her that i was so very sorry!

        My dad called me in and told me it was time to come inside.  I also apologized to him because I felt like it was my fault for not stopping her after i noticed the flip-flops.  He told me that it was not my fault, these kinds of things happen and that we just need to be more careful.  He also told me that her scrapes would take a while to heal but everything will be fine.  She has never worn flip-flops again to play chase.
